We had a terrific time in Owensboro!  Did you know it is the birthplace of Johnny Depp? One morning, Jeremiah and me got up really early and were interviewed at the theatre by Jason Claspell of Fox's AM Evansville.  It was a lot of fun. You can check out the video here...

One night, a bunch of the cast, crew and musicians went to Buffalo Wild Wings, near our hotel. I've never been there before. They have great wings and we had tons of fun playing Photo Hunt and Stacker. I also met a very nice lady named Rhonda, who owns a small store that sells all kinds of Kentucy souviners and products in the local mall. I noticed a book about dachshunds and had to check it out since I miss my dachshund, Yocco! The book is part of a series about dogs named Woody and Chloe and their adventures as they travel all over Kentucy. Rhonda was so nice, she gave me a signed (and Woody pawprinted) copy of the book to keep. One of the best parts of touring is meeting such wonderful new people and experiencing all these amazing cities! Thanks Rhonda!
When we left Owensboro, we headed out on a 2 day bus ride to our next destination, Waterbury, CT.  I love to sleep on the bus!  It's so comfortable on the floor with my sleeping bag and pillow. As soon as the bus starts moving, I get sleepy!  We stopped in Cincinnati, OH at a mall for a lunch break on the first day. My favorite part was the LEGO store! Then we stopped for the night in Washington, PA and stayed in a hotel.  Ellen bought me a Snuggie for the bus because she knows how much I like to sleep. Thanks, Ellen!  The next day we stopped for lunch in Hershey, PA and got to go to Chocolate World.  I love it there! We all went on the tour ride and ate way too much chocolate! Finally, after more than 20 hours over 2 days on the bus, we arrived in Waterbury, CT!

Although I've never heard of Paducah, Kentucy, I'm glad I got to go there!  The theatre was big and beautiful and less than 10 years old.  Did you know that Paducah is the birthplace of Dippin' Dots? Yummy!  A bunch of the cast and musicians were lucky to be able to see "Alice in Wonderland" one night.  I loved the movie!  Linda Woolverton wrote the script for both Beauty and the Beast and Alice in Wonderland so when her name came up on the credits, we all cheered really loud!  I feel really lucky to have been able to work with her, she's so talented. Unfortunetly our Beast, Justin, hasn't been feeling too well, so for a few shows Steve, his understudy, got to be the Beast! Plus, Tony, our swing, got to go on for Steve. They both were so awesome and it was cool to see them in those roles.  Justin is feeling better again after his small rest! Tyler, the assistant stage manager, and me decided to have a Saltine cracker eating contest.  The rules were we couldn't drink any water and the first person to chew and swallow 7 crackers would win. I tried my best, but Julia won!

Bloominton was amazing! Our hotel was on the Indiana University Campus and it reminded me of "Hogwarts School" from Harry Potter. The buildings are old and it was cold and dreary so it looked just like Hogwarts and I loved it!  The theatre here is huge, holding 3,200 people.  On the nights of our shows, they lit up the outside of the theatre so it had the logos and "Beauty and the Beast" written on it. Our friend from back home, Eva, came to see the show and visit with us since she was nearby traveling with work. It was great to see her! She gave the show two thumbs way up! We had a fantastic day with her. First, we went to the Wonderlab, which is a really neat science museum for kids.  There were so many cool things to do and see there. My favorite thing there was the exhibit that let you build creatures, then take still pictures, add sounds, and play it all back to make a movie.  We made some pretty interesting movies! We also got to check out the awesome new football stadium. I even got to run on the field!  Then, we went to the local mall and Target where we loaded up on some neccessities. To top it off, we ate at Texas Roadhouse, one of my favorite restaurants!  Thanks Eva for a wonderful day! Next up....Paducah, KY.

Fabulous in Flint....

Beautiful Theatre...."The Whiting"

Can you tell that I'm a huge fan??

MY DAD AND ME!!

Hanging with dad, playing "Abduction" on his Droid

My bus neighbors, Liz, Anthony, and Erin, goofing around

Flint, Michigan was awesome! All of our shows in the 2,000 seat theatre were sold out and we got a standing ovation at every show. The audiences were great. There was a piano in the lobby of the theatre that I got to play before the house opened. I miss my keyboard at home, but at the theatre I got a chance to practice some of the songs that I've written. Ellen, the merchandise manager on the tour, really liked my songs.
Brian and GM, who work in 'Props', got Jeremiah and me this awesome leopard print chair with two seats. It's now our official "Chip Chair" and travels all over with us. Thanks for the chair guys, we love it! We like to park it outside the production office backstage so we can connect to the internet with our laptops and play games online.
The BEST part about Flint was that my dad came to visit me!! I was so happy to see him. He had to deal with 2 cancelled flights and then a 900 mile drive (one way) just to be with me for 2 days. It's been a month since I've seen him last and I missed him so much. He could only stay a few days because of work, but he'll be back again soon! I LOVE YOU DAD, YOU'RE THE BEST!
