BTB loves The Standard!

After a ten day break, we all met again in Albuquerque, New Mexico.  We were only there for the weekend and we had 5 shows so I didn't get to do much sightseeing.  The Popejoy theatre was on the campus of the University of New Mexico.  Some of the cast saw a coyote near our hotel! We ate at an authentic Mexican restaurant and we also found an amazing restaurant called The Standard.  It was featured on "Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives". I LOVED the milkshakes!  Next up....Dallas, Texas!  Stay tuned!

We recently had a 10 day break from the tour.  I fit as much as I could in the time off!  My dad and me flew to Colorado to visit friends there and then went hiking/backpacking in Wyoming.  I got to see Old Faithful and go horseback riding which was really neat. When I got back home, I spent some time with friends and family that I haven't seen in a while.  I was so busy that I now need a vacation from my vacation!  No time to rest though....it's time to meet up with my Beauty and the Beast family in Albuquerque, New Mexico!

Good times, Good times!

We couldn't have fit more in a week if we tried!  Omaha had a lot of great things to do. In one week, we managed to go to the zoo, play kickball, have a going away party for Corey (who is going to the Blue Man Group Tour!), play paintball, go to an arts festival, and perform 8 shows at the lovely Orpheum theatre. Before the shows and during intermissions, the theatre sold some pretty cool Beauty and the Beast themed snacks!  I didn't get to try the Chocolate CHIP cookies, but they sure looked great.
Paintball was my favorite thing we did in Omaha.  It was my first time playing. It hurt a lot when I got hit, but it was so much fun!  I also really enjoyed the Henry Doorly Zoo.  It was HUGE and had so many awesome animals. The coolest animals were the okapis and the free-roaming peacocks.  I also really liked the butterfly house which had butterflies everywhere!
Omaha was great, but by the end of the weekend, all I could think about was our upcoming 10 day tour break!  My dad and I are going to Colorado, I get to see friends and family at home, and of course give my dog a big hug!  See you after our vacation..... the next tour city is Albuquerque, New Mexico!
