The Boll Weevil Cafe...Best Key Lime Pie EVER!

Augusta, Georgia was a lot of fun.  The theatre and hotel were close to a lot of great little cafe's and eateries.  My favorite was "Nacho Mama's" which served great mexican food.  I got nachos, which were yummy!  Our hotel was right on the banks of the Savannah River.  There is a Riverwalk there which has some cool statues, fountains, and beautiful plants & flowers.
One night, a bunch of us went to the movies to see "How to Train Your Dragon".  I really liked it!  After the movie, we had dessert in the hotel.  A few hours later, we had dessert again at a cafe called "The Boll Weevil".  They have awesome Key Lime Pie!  Then, it was back to the bus for our trek to Columbia, South Carolina....

After Fort Myers, we drove over to the opposite side of the Florida to soak up the sun in Daytona Beach.  On the way into town, we passed the big racetrack that hosts the big Daytona 500 race. Our hotel was right on the beach! When we weren't at the theatre, we were on the beach!  The best thing about Daytona though, was that my uncle Neal, who lives in Orlando, came to visit!  He saw the show and loved it!  We ate at Bubba Gump's and had ice cream after the show.  One of the hardest things about touring is not being able to see my family a lot, but I'm so happy that they are able to come visit me!  After Daytona Beach, we drove to Tallahassee where we played in a huge arena.  The Tallahassee Civic Center was really cool and they threw us an amazing opening night party with awesome food. My favorites were all the great desserts and the Beauty and the Beast ice sculpture.  Jeremiah and I got our hair dyed again, so we have red hair instead of the orange it faded to from all of our time swimming and in the sun!  Thanks Florida, we had a great time! Next up...Augusta, Georgia and Columbia, South Carolina.

We spent a great week near the beach in Fort Myers, Florida! Swimming in the Gulf of Mexico was awesome.  The weather was perfect and the beaches were awesome, even in April!  I had to do state required school testing called PSSA's this week.  A friend of my mom's, who is a teacher, flew to Florida to give me the tests.  Her daughter, and my friend, Emily came along too. It was so fun to hang out with Emily...we had a blast!  The tests took 3 days but they weren't so bad and I think I did a good job. In our free time, we went to the pool, Fort Myers Beach, and Sanibel Island!  Sanibel Island is COVERED in amazing seashells. I collected so many, I don't know what to do with them all.
One night, the theatre hosted "Kids Night on Broadway" which is a program to introduce kids to theatre.  They had fun activities like face painting, coloring banners, and a meet and greet with some cast members before the show.  I was a little nervous to have 100+people asking me tons of questions, but it was fun!  I signed a bunch of autographs, took pictures with some kids, and showed off some props and costumes.  I even met a little girl who just played "Chip" in a local production of Beauty and the Beast.  I love Florida....good thing because next up is Daytona Beach!  Stay tuned =)
