This week we were in Knoxville, Tennessee. The weather was great and the city was so nice! Knoxville was home to the 1982 World's Fair and there are a bunch of neat statues from it all around town. In between the hotel and the theatre there is a little block called Market Square. It has all kinds of little shops and restaurants and on Wednesday there was a Farmers Market with all kinds of fresh local foods and treats. The Tennessee Theatre was recently remodeled and is one of the nicest theatres we've played so far! Around the theatre, there are a bunch of neat general stores with old fashion candy and toys! One night after a show, we were watching the Food Network and there was a restaurant called "Pizza Palace" being featured on Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives. It just so happens that Pizza Palace is in Knoxville, so the next day we had dinner there. A bunch of us split pizza, spaghetti with meat sauce, salad and onion rings. It was YUMMY! Thanks for a terrific time Knoxville! Next up......New Haven, CT!
