Haunted Tour of Nashville...in a hearse!!
Some scary sights!

Our week in Nashville was HOT, HOT, HOT!  It was hard to walk around outside for a long period of time because of the extreme heat.  It didn't stop us from having a lot of fun though! To beat the heat, we ate a lot of ice cream at Mike's Ice Cream Parlour...YUM!  We also went swimming and stayed in the A/C as much as possible!
The Tennessee Performing Arts Center is an amazing 2400+ seat venue.  The lobby was my favorite.
Recently, Nashville was hit with a horrible flood and the city is still trying to recuperate.  We visited a Farmers Market, but only the outside portion was open because the flood had damaged much of the building.  The week before we got there, Nashville hosted the CMA Music Festival, which raised a lot of money to help with the damages caused by the floods.
On June 16th, Jeremiah turned NINE!  He had a huge birthday party at Decades. It's a club that was privately reserved for the cast, crew, and Jeremiah's family and friends. Everyone had a great time. There was a lot of eating and dancing!  Jeremiah got an ipod touch and a bunch of other great presents.
On our last night, Robyn organized a Haunted Hearse Ride around Nashville.  It was pretty creepy, but way fun!  We rode around in a hearse while our driver pointed out buildings and areas around town that are supposedly haunted.  We even stopped in a cemetery. The SCARIEST thing was that  black cat crossed in front of the hearse when we were parked at a red light!  I didn't see any ghosts, but some of our friends had some weird orbs on some pictures they took! Next up....Omaha, Nebraska!

We had a great week in Durham, North Carolina!  We performed at the brand new, Durham Performing Arts Center, which was beautiful.  They threw us a great opening night party with some terrific food.  Our hotel had an outdoor swimming pool which we spent a lot of time at.
One day, a group of us drove to Wet and Wild Water park at Emerald Point.  It was so much fun.  The day was hot and the water was perfect!  Unfortunately, right before we left, I slipped on wet tiles and hit my head pretty hard.  The awesome doctors and nurses at Duke Medical Center's Children's Hospital took great care of me.  I had a concussion so I missed my first show ever.  After a couple days of rest, I was feeling much better.
After hearing all the cast and crew talking about a great local popsicle place called LocoPops, I had to check it out for myself.  They have really neat flavors, like Mango Chile, Pomegranate Tangerine, Chocolate Pretzel, Cackalacky Pineapple, and Grapefruit Mint.  They were so good, I had to get two!
While in Durham, Tony, our male swing and good friend, instructed a Broadway Master Class at a local dance studio.  I went along to help and I also learned a few things too!  Tony taught the kids auditioning skills, what to put on your resume, and then had an acting and dancing class.  Tony is a really great teacher and a fantastic performer! Everyone learned a lot from the class.
As fun as Durham was, we were all looking forward to going to our next stop, Nashville, Tennessee (aka Music City)...

I LOVE MY FAMILY!

WOW! What a week! I have been looking forward to Scranton, PA since the tour started because it is the closest the tour came to my hometown. I couldn’t wait to see all my friends and family! Although I live close, I’ve never been to Scranton. One day, about 30 cast/crew/musicians went Whitewater rafting on the Lehigh River. It was so awesome, but boy were my arms tired the next day. We rafted, canoed, and swam a total of 7 miles! My favorite place to eat in Scranton was a Thai restaurant called Thai Rak Thai. We ate there 3 times in one week! I love coconut soup and chicken curry.
The BEST part of Scranton was being able to spend time with all my friends and family. Although I didn’t have A LOT of time to spend, it was great to see everyone. I am so lucky that I have all these great people in my life. Being able to share what I love with the people I love means so much to me! I’d like to thank all my wonderful family members, teachers, friends, and friends of friends for coming to see the show. I hope you enjoyed the show as much as I do.
 Lots of love to:
